Nirea explores the relationship between surface, thickness and light through translucent porcelain. Digital design tools generate continuous waves across the surface, where gradual shifts between thin and thick walls create changing levels of translucency and a subtle play of light and shadow.

The complexity is concentrated in the texture, while the overall forms remain simple and restrained, allowing the surface to define the character of each piece.
